Our non-gel, alcohol-based hand sanitizer is formulated strictly following all guidelines established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As an organization with blending and bottling capacities, but not formerly producing hand sanitizer, we have received registration approval by the FDA to immediately start blending and bottling hand sanitizer to help fill the nationwide demand caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, due to our temporary registration status, we are required to strictly follow the formula established by the WHO, FDA and CDC. This means we cannot add anything to the formula to make it a gel type of hand sanitizer, nor can we add any fragrance to the formula. The approved formula consists of alcohol (80% by volume), purified water USP, glycerin and hydrogen peroxide.

The hand sanitizer has arrived, and it’s as the description states. However, I am researching ways to make it into a gel versus having to use it as a spray. Alovera gel appears to be the best route.

I purchased a gallon of this hand sanitizer and it’s a great product. I am a diabetic and my immune system is very low and I couldn’t fine sanitizer anywhere!! Thank you for making hand sanitizer during this COVID-19 time!

      Thank you!

I bought this and am happy with it because it doesn’t have a terrible smell like a couple of the others that family has purchased. Not that we smell it per se when using hand sanitizer, but the stuff (totally different maker/brand) my mom purchased for example, has a lingering smell that reaches the nose and hangs around for quite a while and leaves a bad smell on hands. This product is more like what I would call a clean alcohol, or vodka smell perhaps, and no additional fragrance or odor is left on our hands once its dried.

    Thanks LSI!!

      Thanks Jenn!!

I love the product. Thank you very much for your efforts toward this pandemic. The only bummer for me was that I purchased the half gallon from amazon for $41 and now it is on sale for $31. Other than that, great product and strongly recommend it.

      Thanks Greg!

I loaded mine into a sprayer and use it on incoming packages, shoes from outside, aside from hands. But im wondering what kind of alcohol is it?

    • Levi

It is ethyl / ethanol alcohol, thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for producing hand sanitizer (fragrance free) during these times. Fast shipping and handling. Easy to carry gallon bottle. I carry this at work in small spray bottle, use it on my hands (of course), gloves, work vehicle, shoes, clothes, hat, and backpack. Dries fast.

Highly recommend this product. Will buy again.

      Thank you!!

I bought a gallon from amazon earlier this year. It has a strong corn alcohol smell and the drug facts only states “Alcohol 80% v/v” instead of ‘Ethyl alcohol 80% v/v’. Could this indicate that it is could this indicate that it is counterfeit? or include other types of alcohol such as methanol?

    • Levi

It is in fact Ethyl alcohol, and we are updating our labels to reflect this.
It’s formulated strictly following all guidelines established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our FDA approval number is NDC is 75015-000

I purchased the LSI hand sanitizer pack from Amazon that came with a 1-gal bottle plus an 8-oz smaller spray bottle. We recently opened the big bottle. While the content of the small bottle smells as expected (basically like ethanol), the content of the 1-gal bottle has a very distinct coconut smell to it. It almost seems to be an intentional fragrance since the smell clings to the skin for hours. Unfortunately, I cannot stand the coconut smell. Was there a mixup with the content? Or is it a degradation product that accumulates over time? If the latter, it’s noteworthy that the content of the small bottle stills smells like ethanol; no change in smell over the months that we had the product. Any advice? Thanks so much!

    • R&D

We offer our hand sanitizer in both gel and liquid form, our gel hand sanitizer does have a coconut fragrance to assist with the heavy ethanol smell that some of our other customers have complained about. We do not add fragrance to the liquid hand sanitizer.
