213R Primrose Plus HD Rock Drill Oil

Description:
Primrose Plus HD Rock Drill Oil is compounded to meet the rugged operational requirements of all rock drills. This heavy-duty oil with its high extreme pressure capability and adhesive/cohesive features is available in three viscosity grades to meet the requirements of all types of ambient weather conditions as well as all makes of drills.

Composition:
HD Rock Drill Oil is compounded from selected solvent refined base oils. It is compounded using a new type additive chemistry, which overcomes the toxicological and ecological problems associated with lead type additives. This makes possible underground use where toxicity is a serious problem. It has a naturally high viscosity index, high flash point, high film strength and in addition, contains the following components:

• Corrosion Inhibitors
• Oxidation Inhibitors
• Oiliness Additives
• Anti-Wear Additives
• Adhesive and Cohesive Additives
• Anti-Scuff Additives
• Extreme Pressure Additives
• Foam Inhibitors

Performance Characteristics:
Rust and corrosion inhibitors in HD Rock Drill Oil fight chemical attack on drill parts and effectively prevent rust from forming when equipment is not being used.

Extreme pressure additives combined with the oil’s naturally high film strength prevents friction, scuffing and premature wear of parts.

Adhesive/cohesive additives allow the oil to thoroughly coat metal parts and provide positive lubrication.
